Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 main menu problems (Win 7)

I have been talking to a lot people recently who had similar problems with the old games. All of them have Nvidia graphic cards, so it may be related to newer versions of their drivers.

Thank you for replying. This is exactly what happens in my case. If newer drivers are causing the problem, do you think that installing an older version would fix the problem?

Exactly the same problem here i tried everything that i saw in this forum (game properties, directx 2008, resolution change, bibbers launcher)

Win7 64 bit, nvidia 780 ti 

i guess its something with nvidia? i hope we can solve this problem 

Can someone upload the RA2.ini at pastebin or something cause in my RA2.ini there are no game options

Same here. I was thinking of installing Windows XP on another hard drive, just for the purpose of playing older video games. 

That might fix the problem if the game doesn't function due to the OS, but if Nvidia is the problem, I unfortunately don't have a fix yet. (that's why I posted here in the first place) 

Some people have reported this tutorial fixing issues with the menus not appearing.

Thanks for the help but it didnt work i disconnected my 2nd monitor and tried all the things even what this other guy wrote in the comments but still no buttons in the menu
