Error message - Verify ownership
Hi,
I purchased command & conquer 3 yesterday (16/10/12) through origin and downloaded / installed it but am getting the following error when I try to launch the game - "In order to launch this game, please login to the EA link to verify your ownership, then try again."
I wasn't sure of my password so I reset it, then verified my email address, but it still isn't working.
I've been looking on quite a few forums for a solution and have found nothing to solve this. I need to speak to an advisor but every time I try to do this the 'call me' and 'live chat' options are not available. I sent an email yesterday detailing the problem (case no. 05964430) with the hope that someone would respond with an answer within 24 hrs as mentioned on the website, however I have still not received a reply . I realise this may not be top of your priorities but I feel I someone should at least have the decency to reply to my e-mail.
What makes this worse is that I bought the game when it was released in 2007 but have misplaced the booklet with the cd key. I've tried to use the cd key given to me with the download but this isn't working either. So at the minute I cannot play a game that i've paid for twice!
I would be grateful if someone from EA could respond either to this thread or to my initial e-mail asap

I have found others with a similar issue, and someone provided a solution that seemed to work for all those who tried it. Let's give it a spin, shall we?
**************************************************************************We would like to suggest you to please make a screen name by following steps and link the screen name to your EA account . The steps are :
1- Create an account in www.pogo.com
2- Login into www.profile.ea.com using the EA email id and password.
3- Scroll down the page, click on " Add Persona".
4- Select option " existing EA classic screen name". It will open a login window.
5- Login using pogo screen name and password.
6- Click on " Add Persona".
7- Now pogo screen name should appear under " Select a default persona" heading.
8- Double click on the pogo screen name.
After the screen name attach to your account . Please uninstall the game and re-install.

After doing this you will be asked to provide the account info at the first start-up of the game. After the first start-up the game starts automatically with no nagging about providing any account information.Let us know if this solves your problem. 🙂
