Forced widescreen on battle screen

What do you expect to see? To be able to play the game on a 5:4 ratio monitor.

I have a 5:4 ratio monitor, 1280x1024. Main menu is in correct ratio. Loading screens are in correct ratio. Cutscenes in widescreen mod but subtitles are on the black pannel on the bottom, so cutscenes are okay. Battle screen is in forced widescreen. When I choose windowed mode, I cannot change the resolution. When I play in fullscreen mode if I choose one of the widescreen resolution options, 1280x768 for example, game is scretch to my monitor. Game shows widescreen image in nearly 5:4 ratio.
