for the 1st issue, I'd advice you to run the game always from Origin as it will launch the right files from the relevant folders. Also I'd not recommend to run any modded version of the game as the file of this could cause conflicts with the original ones and prevent the game to work as intended.
The 2nd issue it's a little bit weird but it's not that easy to tell you straight away what it's causing it.
Would be very handy if you could attach a Msinfo32 to the topic so we can have a look 🙂
