Matchmaking

I have noticed that some matches my unit levels are reduced by several levels. I don’t understand how or why this is happening, but I worked very hard to get my units to the high levels they are now. I can’t seem to get passed master even though I’ve been playing this game EVERYDAY for almost 3 years. I will get challenge battles 10 matches in a row with no chance of winning because my opponents have levels too high to defeat. It seems the closer I get to tiberium the more the matchmaking sucks. What’s going on with this game?

    There is a level cap for each league, meaning that your units cannot surpass a certain level for playing in a certain league.

    For Diamond League, the level cap is 11.

    For Master League, the level cap is 13. 

    For Tiberium League, the level cap is 15 (which is also the highest level that your units can possibly have). 

    This does not mean that your units really lose any progress from levelling up, it just means they will count as a lower-level unit as long as you play in the lower league. Once you go up one league, the level cap will also increase. If you have level 12 or 13 units and want to play them at that level, you will have to enter Master League to do so. Same for level 14/15 units and Tiberium League.
