This location differs of course per system 🙂 Is this enough info for you? 🙂 If the steps @holger1405 provided did not work, could you and @zaviroshi maybe describe your problems in more detail?
I've tried many methods
- edit RA2.ini- copy and paste 3 files (.dll)
- uninstall and reinstall
still not working T_T
Here is the screen recordOk, C&C games are old games that were programmed for graphics systems that are very different from today's.
- Download "ddwrapper" from here.
- Extract the zip file into your RA2 game directory. ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Red Alert II"
- Open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" with a text editor (e.g. the Windows "Editor")
- Change the value from "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" to "1" > Save!
- Test the game.
Thanks to @Nyerguds for this solution.
Ok it's work now!
Thanks a lot!
But after I play for 10 minutes the game crashed (no response) T______T" now I dunno what to do..Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply.
Also go to your Reliability monitor > Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and paste or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER” and look if it has entries for the game you have trouble with.
If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable, copy the info to the clipboard, and save it to a text file. You can attach the DxDiag text file you created (and the “Reliability monitor” text file as well) to your post in the “Reply” window with the “Choose File” button.
