Red Alert 2 Black Screen on Load, Also for RA2 Yuri's Revenge

Question

When I start up Red Alert 2 (or Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge), after I choose the game from the menu, a black screen appears, but there is sound and functionality when I click around. The mouse is visible during this black screen.

I have already repaired the game before and after disabling origin for the game.

I am running Windows 10, but had this exact problem with windows 8.

If relevant, I am unable to disable cloud game storage for this game. It tells me there is a server error that prevents me from unchecking the box.

There are a few things you can do to help RA2 to run better:

Make sure to disable Origin In Game overlay in the Origin settings for the game
Tweaking certain compatibility modes&nbsp;can help a lot
Install&nbsp;Bibber's fixed game launchers
Some people have reported this tutorial&nbsp;fixing issues with the menus not appearing
