I’ve gotten rid or Origins and installed the EA App and downloaded Red Alert 2 through the EA App but when I got to launch the game it ask for permission which I grant and then it tells me it failed to launch and try later.
I wait and try but get the same message. I’ve clicked repair but it doesn’t help.
any idea on the solution for this?

EA, really? We paid for this game, so why we can't play it? Last year I had to download and modify bunch of stuff with Origin in order to play the game I bought, OK fine... And now you say OK Origin is dead delete it and start new with EA app, OK fine... And then after all we still cannot play the game that we paid for... I don't understand why???

This has, sadly, been going on for Months. I think it started last November.
Back then, when trying to Login via Origin, an annoying EA App pop up appeared instead, demanding that a new EA App be downloaded, after which Origin would be deleted.
Except the EA App failed to load, and fell over every single time.
Downloading the EA App direct did not work either.
After a ton of complaints, EA relented and re-enabled the Origin Login.
So, the Origin Login worked again fine for a month or so.
Then they forced the EA App upgrade, again, but without trying to fix the issues that caused Origin based users grief back in November 2022.
Many, myself included, found a way around that by modifying an XML File, which kept Origin working by stopping the EA App pop up.
Then they stopped that workaround, and forced the EA App yet again but, you've guessed it, without trying to fix the issues that caused Origin based users grief from November 2022 onwards!
Downloading the EA App and trying to install it that way, still doesn't work either.
In am now totally unable to launch C&C Red Alert Remastered.
There is no workaround that I am aware of, other than downloading an old version of Origin, which one can only obtain from non-official web sites, which in my long experience, is not worth the risk of downloading something extra.
To say I am unimpressed with EA, would be an understatement.
Nope, nothing from anyone at EA. @EA_Darko ehat is the solution to this problem?
Am still waiting for a solution to this issue from EA. I Always come back to play Red Alert 2
Same, nothing after two months.. it’s pathetic how little they care. I gave them money for these games and can’t play… please tell me another situation where this would be acceptable?
@Submarine5776 Please try to disable EA app in-game overlay or disable Windows UAC (User Account Control) and see which one works.

I purchased Command and conquer ultimate edition and I installed red alert 2 on my laptop when I run it it didn't work..
I can hear the music, and see the mouse cursor but the screen is black
so what to do ??
