The Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection.

Hi,

I have bought the ultimate collection thru Origin and have downloaded c&c 4, renegade & genrals+zero hour. Both c&c4 & renegade work fine, however with the generals games i keep getting a message saying to ensure i have direct x 8.1 or later?(I have direct x 11) .

I have changed the options ini file and still keep getting this message?

Any other ideas?

I hope you can help me? I keep trying to download my game on c&c but it keeps giveing me error 7049:408 and i have done eveything on the help menu but it still does not work.

I am a great fan of C&C Red Alert and Generals. I want to buy the new Ultimate collection for my sons to play. Will it work on Windows 8 (especially Generals).

better off buying the actual disc version as EA's answer to controlling piracy is lock down their titles in a stupid manner

I have windows 7 64 bit....the games work...but the older ones such as red aler 1, and command and conquer are very pixilated and colorful...i tried changing the properties such as compatibility and runing in 256 as well as 640 x 480 screen resolution and a whole bunch of combinations of those settings but it still comes out the same...all the colors are out of whack...

It upsets me that as customers,EA hasn't directly addressed this issue yet.
