Time for a new C&C Remaster

Hello EA Games and hello fellow C&C fans!

The C&C Remastered Collection was a success for EA, both loved by gamers and also sold very well. Just this year C&C The Ultimate Collection went live on Steam and immediately got into the top 20 most popular steam titles where it held for like a month

EA's surprise megadump of classic Command & Conquer games means Europe's March game sales were dominated by 25-year-old RTSes, beating WWE 2K24 and Nintendo (article by PC Gamer)

It's been 4 years and complete radio silence from EA on the future of C&C as a real RTS game on PC and console, where the series belongs, no offense to mobile gamers.

The demand for say a second remastered collection with Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun or Generals or who knows maybe a completely new title is there and it's real. People on the C&C communities in Reddit and Facebook still ask about it regularly although they're beginning to doubt if we'll ever see something. The release of C&C Ultimate Collection on Steam this March and the huge success it was made fans hopeful that this actually means EA has not forgotten about the series and was planning to do something with it.

The guys at Petroglyph and Lemon Sky who did the first remasters have said they're willing to do it again, the community wants it, the games sell well, what more is needed?

We're eagerly awaiting to hear back from EA Games as we always have been throughout the years.

This is the subreddit of C&C where thousands of us fans are active in discussing and sharing our love for our favorite series https://www.reddit.com/r/commandandconquer/

Special thanks to Jim Vessella(Jimtern) who has gone above and beyond for the C&C community through the years. Really appreciate all you did for C&C and we all wish you well wherever you are! Drop by the sub some time people would love to hear from you.

Oh and next year will be the 30th anniversary of the Command and Conquer series, so maybe a good time to surprise fans with something nice. For now happy 29 C&C!

I understand that will be C&C Legions that will govlive soon. If you like this type of RTS tempest rising is the next best thing.

I wish EA had invested more in C&C Rivals. Thousands of players play the game without any support from EA because they abandoned the project.

I was thinking more of a new PC RTS like the C&C Remastered collection in 2020, PC being the home of C&C. Mobile type games are not quite my thing and C&C fanbase is mostly PC based.

For what it was, Rivals was not a bad mobile game as far as I heard. I'm surprised to hear that EA have abandoned it.

I'm also gonna give Tempest Rising a try, but nothing beats the good old C&C, am I right or am I right :)

Having played since 1994/5 agree. Rivals is definitely my go yo game. It is a piece of art in terms of mechanics, strategy, micro movements and much more. Wide community of players with tournaments in flight and world winners. EA killed this project too soon. It is a wild business.

I definitely would love to see a proper C&C game and even a Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Warm remasters. Let's hope after they launch Legions that we can get something for PC :).

  • Its a no brainer that gets delayed. With me arrived, we particulary know we have mafia in front of us.
I guide the earth into a new age. Everything hidden will come to the light. As always in history.

Get this paper and translate it.
It will show everybody the way.

I want to share it where it belongs. The words of OP are golden and the whole earth is rising powers to deal with things that the big big america cant.

its the riping stadium of germany 300 years ago, and it reads like a point in the far future when I look at germany now.
But marshal knowledge is deeply connected with strategy and C&C.

Also I wonder why Tiberium alliances did release with NO manual or game rules from the big big america.
We need to look into history to find out about the strategical rules of war arts... why is this in the age of RTS game still a issue to put up What every soldier did know in past centuries?

Every C&C player must know theese military basics like terrain knowlege, human knowledge, moral, glory... everything things that a corporal of our officers would be unexcused if he wouldnt know, and here we see big field marshals lacking it.

    I want to play Yuris army in modern multiplayer and maybe Tanyas army; and much more expansion and mission work with film story in the same graphic we had in 2000-2005. Nothing expensive just the usual stuff story told onwards;

and give the copy right back to westwood where it belongs to.
And I want to play it on my Win7 or old windows like before.

For a big big land like america, this is a no brainer to happen quickly.
I think this is good for economy, education, getting good citizen and many other things that all people need and benefit from. Inclusively EA. They also want glory I think. They loose so much reputation for no reason and nobody will excuse it lacking.

Make it like Frederick^ or bigger as you have promised. SHow how big you really are. I think you cannot Equal up with out kings in the past even, when such a little step is an issue for you already, how do you want to come up to the REAL challenges, that the earth has, when an easy cash grab for a remaster needs to be delayed for 20 years already??
