It seems to break the logic as mutants are tiberium resistant. They are however not tiberium immune. This is from tiberium sun lore, mutants (along with tiberium fiends) can't survive a chemical missile attack. The chem spray of both buggy and warrior is the same as the missile attack from tiberium sun. I tested it once in a map and the result was they died and became visceroids. Maybe chem buggies and warriors should be used sparingly as one or two members of the irradiated squad will turn into a visceroid to attack the nearest unit (regardless who's side it is). These visceroids are immune to the chem spray and will heal from it, but are very vulnerable to other anti-infantry attacks.

What I meant is regular tiberium, they are resistant to it. They however are vulnerable to concentrated doses (like tiberium waste, used by catalyst and chemical missiles and chem buggies and warriors). I mean they have a tolerance to tiberium that's why they can stand on top of it, but a chem buggy can melt a mutant since its ammo is concentrated tiberium sludge.

@EinarThePillager A well.. the game description says “Immunty... Tiberium Damage”. Don’t think it gets any more plain than that.
