11 years agoI had the same problem and figured it was my xbox or something. If you have the first gen 360, have it so the disk tray is vertical, then play the game till you get to the prompt. Eject the disk, then close the tray with disk one still in. You'll get a 360 prompt moments later to put disk two in. Eject the tray then swap disks. Close the prompt, then close the tray. This worked for me but I don't know if it'll work for everyone because I don't have the 360 Elite. Let me know if this works.

11 years agoSince I waited more than I should... I got rid of it. I don't have the game anymore, but my console was not first generation.
I was truly deceived by EA support, saying it was being analyzed and I should receive an answer shortly... shortly = several months!?
Since I had Dead Space 3 to play as well (I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this would happen to Dead Space 2), I've decided to watch some youtube films about Dead Space 2... since I wasn't able to finish it because of that issue.
