Act 1 and Act 2 fusion bug.

My DA:II game was running smoothly with the little mods I have on it as I just finished Enemies Among us in Act I and grabbing a grimoire for a quest in Lowtown along with freeing Keran. Once I hit Lowtown suddenly Varric starts talking about Bartrand after the deep roads which I never been too yet since I wanted to level up more also Bethany (rogue) was taken by the templars to the circle of magi. I am now fused between Act I and II also I cannot recruit Merril to my team now. Is there anyway of fixing this acurseded bug.
