Bought Dragon Age Origins through Steam, can't launch through EA play

Basically the title. When I try launching through Steam it crashes because of the memory leak issue which I haven't figured out how to fix. Decided to try playing it through EA Play in hopes that s...

Do you use a Proxy or a VPN?

If you are not sure:

Right click "Start" > Choose "Windows Power Shell (Administrator) or Terminal (Administrator).

Copy and paste: netsh winhttp show proxy into the Power Shell window > Press ENTER.

You should get a return of: "DirectAccses (No Proxyserver).
If there is a Proxy or VPN, deactivate it.

If that don't helps, preform an EA app recovery.

Click on the 3 lines at the top left of the EA app > Help > App Recovery.

If that still don't helps, contact EA directly and let them check your account status.

Since when do you own the game on Steam?

Are your EA and Steam account correctly linked?

the two accounts are linked up, yes. And I have owned the game since the 15th of March, 2022.

    yeah, my bad.
    And whenever I tried to launch it through the EA app, it wanted a CD key for the game to launch.
