This is a weird bug.I'm not in a dungeon or anything, just in Crestwood at one of my camps. No matter where I go I cannot access the world map, so I'm basically stuck here after 40 hours of gameplay. Anyone have a fix for this? I restarted the game but it didn't do anything.

This is bad indeed. I am also having this problem. I have been playing for 3 hours and I do not want to back track from another save. I dont want to waste my 76 hours game time for this. The patches should have fixed everything and now it seems we need to wait for another patch. I hope there is a work around. In regards to the Sera quest. I have done that a long time ago and had no problem with the Crestwood map. It happend upon entering Crestwood for shards and other side quests. Now I cant leave.

Update: Loaded another save game to escape Crestwood. Ended up having to collect the reward for Sera's quest which also happened to be in Crestwood, couldn't leave again. Crestwood is definitely glitched.

Is there anyway to get out without reloading a save? I played around Crestwood for a few hours before I noticed the bug, and I really don't want to lose it all.

Unfortunately, no. :c I'm sorry. Don't finish Sera's quest, either. It'll end up teleporting you there.

Greetings fellow Inquisition members!I too have had the same problem. I would imagine that ordinarily a person would simply complete Sera's Crestwood quest/mission retrieve the reward and that should cause the game to offer the 'World Map' option. I'd guess that something in code isn't setting the flag appropriately to display the World Map button upon completion of the mission.I would considder loading my old save game but the problem is that Sera is my character's LI/RI (Love Interest) as such, I don't see a way around this problem until it gets patched or until a workaround can be found. Until then I guess I will be hanging out in Crestwood for a while until a patch is finally released Or a workaround is made available.

Exiting by the South Road worked for me. All I saw for this mission was some guy run up to us then he catches some arrows in hi chest. No idea what to do from there.

Was this ever fixed? I'm stuck in crestwood and I cant even exit from the south exit.

‎1st post 12-03-2014 a month ago...
I am stuck too, save/load/different exits from area do not work!

I tried everything mentioned, got it to work by closing all the rifts. The last near south gate, as soon as I closed it I headed for exit and finally could select another area. Give it a go!

Unfortunately, it seems like they "fixed" another bug which would allow you to force travel by heading off the map in one of the travel zones... and thereby caused you to exile your inquisitor to any zone where the "combat" flag won't turn off. Since the combat flag seems to be very troublesome, this leads to a pile of troubles all its own.
