There's a lengthy solo section during champions of the just. You should get your party back after you exit the fade.

Tktailo, did the bar that indicated the templar siege status run out? This is a timed section. When the bar gets low, you must return to the main hall to help the besieged templars.

It kicks me to a menu screen so I never get back to the Main Hall. I get a lag spike then a menu screen.
