DA inquisition - Save failed due to insufficient space

Hello,

I purchased DA:I and downloaded and installed it from origin and have have not been able to play it due to a saving error "Save failed due to insufficient space".

I have looked this issue up on the internet and have not been able to find a fix for this problem.

I have read that i need to make changes to the game save folder in the documents folder but after check both the user documents and the admin documents i can find no such folder. The game is saved under the following C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition and there is no save folder that i can find.

I have attempted to create one using the following C:\Users\terry\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition but that did not help.

I have attempted to remove and reinstall the game and this made no change.

I am working on windows 8.1 and have more than enough space in my hard drive so this is not the issue. Is there any fix out there that i can try or anyone that has had the same issue?

There is a hard cap on the number of saves that you can make for this game. It is currently set to 250.
Make an additional folder in your saves folder and move all but the last (most recent) and 4 or 5 saves into it, to make room.
*NOTE* DO NOT MOVE any files with the word *profile* in them.
Also when running the game
1.) Run Origin in Admin Mode
2.) Run DA:I in Admin Mode
for both instances, make a desktop short cut and change the properties in the compatibility tab
place a check mark in the box next to "run as adminitrator".

Not sure if this will help,
Click Start, search for 'My documents', right-click, select properties, choose the 'Location' tab, and click 'restore to default' and apply.
(you may want to write the old location down if it's different, just in case it causes problems elsewhere)

this has no effect. I dont belive that the save folder has been created under the my document folder nor any other folder that i have been able to find. can someone tell me what their save folder looks like and where it is saved?

I have attempetd to duplicate the file in the same place in my documents folder hoping that restarting the game would populate the folder once it was created. however this has not helped. So it seems the basic problem is that the installation did not create a save game folder for me in the my documents folder and i cant create one manually. Can anyone provide any help or is there somewhere else i should raise this issue?
I would attempt reinstallation but i dont think this will help as i have installed this game twice and had the same issue both times.

Out of interest was the 'documents' folder already set to the same as the default folder?
I read somewhere else that the game is possibly hard coded to the default folder.

IM not really to sure what that means. My other origin game dead space 3 has its save game file there under C:\Users\terry\Documents\EA Games

Hello -
I had the same problem. In addition to resetting my resetting "My Documents" to it's default setting (C:\Users\<user name>), I also had to enable "Offline Files" from within the Windows Sync Center in the Control Panel.

i was incorrect regarding the sync centre. i have tried to enable offline files within the sync center but when i go into the sync centre it says i have no synchronisation partnership and the "manage offline file" link has no effect when clicked on
