Sounds like you have an account, code, and/or installation problem. 😕mileyfrustrated:
If it were me, I'd uninstall the Steam version (after being sure I had a copy of my product code(s) handy) and get the EA/Origin digital download.
I tried uninstalling it through Steam and re-installing it through Origin.
Now, not only am I having the same problem with Awakening basically not existing, but all of my DLC is now "unauthorized" and the DLC code I got when I bought the game from Steam doesn't work when I try to redeem it in Origin.
