Dragon Age II: Fresh Install won't connect to account

If you created a password that is ODD in any manner, has anything other than straight alhanumeric characters, it doesn't work correctly, and must be changed.  Is that what you have done? 

I'm having the same problem, my password does have a non letter or number in it. So I went to change it, and I got a system error from doing the process.

I, too, am having this problem. I'd really like to play my game, but it won't verify my account to activate the software.

My password is a mix of upper/lower alpha and numerics: no non-standard characters, yet I'm still not able to log on. Very disappointing when you've paid for a game and can't play it.
