I've updated my driver, still won't open and i won't take the risk of uninstalling AVG since you know, i kind of pirated a lot of software for work like photoshop or powerdirector. But on other news, i just installed a pirated version and it runs as fast as a white German girl on new year's eve.
Might consider playing the pirated version instead right now since i don't really care about achievement and i don't play multiplayer much, and i do think i have the right to do so since i've already bought the original anyway. But i'm still holding on to the slightest hope of a way out since i want to avoid playing pirated games as much as possible since i think that it's ruining the industry
EDIT : I just remembered that i installed a mod called "war table - no waiting" and "more inventory" but since i pretty much already repair and reinstalled the game so i'm sure that it's a fresh copy, is there any text file that i need to edit or delete?
@AgataHardon If you have save games you were playing with the modded version, and you no longer have the mod folder, you may need to change the package.mft file in the Update > Patch folder and increase the version number by one (if you have all the patches installed, it should be version 12, your mod folder would likely then have made it version 13). You'll know if you need to do this if the game refuses to load a save due to the version being lower.
You should not need to uninstall AVG (though there are other anti malware programs out there with less issues like this. AVG is prone to causing issues with games. Avast and BitDefender have been suggested a lot since this whole issue started). If you have the AVG problem, adding Origin and the Dragon Age Inquisition folders to the exception list (not for the firewall, though that may be necessary if the game isn't connecting to the servers, which would be a completely separate problem) go to Options > Advanced settings > Exceptions in AVG to create exceptions. If that doesn't work, and right clicking on AVG and selecting "temporarily disable AVG protection" doesn't work, it's possible you have a different issue. There is another user having the same issue, who has also found he can run the pirated copy of the game, we've yet to figure out what his issue is.
Can you use things like the Keep using the pirated version of the game? Or the DLC? If you had DLC installed (even Black Emporium), your save games may not be happy if you no longer have it.
Also, likely nothing to do with your current problem, if those mods are old, they might need updating (a few of the patches totally changed the ways some mods had to work, so they had to be updated or completely redone, I think the old inventory mod was one of these. Luckily there is a new version. The war table ones still work, though I'm not sure if they had to be updated).

Thanks, i've tried updating all the mods today and checked the mft file with notepad and it already said "Authoritative Patch 12" so i suppose it's already updated i also tried adding the DAI folder to exception list but turns out i've already added the whole program files folder to avoid AVG blocking my games
But i don't think the problems are in the DAI folder itself since i've repaired and reinstalled it several times so the game should be a fresh copy with nothing tampered with. My guess is there's probably a note file somewhere that is changed every time the DAI mod tools "patched" the game that lists all the mods installed and it makes the game crashed because it's missing a previously existing installed patch but i haven't found it and google provides me with no answer and chances are it doesn't exist at all.
Well right now i'm preoccupied playing total war : warhammer and borderlands games with my friends since we have absolutely nothing to do this summer so i'm probably gonna check this tread a few time every week

@AgataHardon Sorry, I was gone for a while.
The game doesn't care what mods you have or have had, as long as you have the patch number set to what the save game file wants (or higher). Patch 12 is what package.mft should say in your patch folder (if it says patch 12, you have patch 11 installed), your mod folder package.mft should be at least one higher than that (default should be 13, but some people have let theirs get higher). Having the wrong patch number will not prevent the game from loading, though, it will just prevent you from loading a save which was created with a higher patch number. It also probably wouldn't hurt to specifically add the DAI folder and executable to the AVG exceptions list, worth a try at least. 😉
