Dragon Age Launch Issue

Dragon Age fails to launch no matter what I do. I have tried every troubleshooting step but it still will not work getting error code 0x0003 saying i do not own the license to the game I paid for.

Please navigate by hand to "C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services" and make a screenshot of the folder.

(Using "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" in the prompt means you don't need to change Windows default hidden files setting, the content will be displayed regardless
Navigate by hand now means you need to enable "Hidden elements" in the windows explorer.

it says the folder doesn't exist and  my EA App installation appears to be on this pathway C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop and not the one you mentioned above. Also I tried going to hidden files view and enabled it and it still doesn't show same with the license folder.

  • "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" >>>> (Without the quotes) = %ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services

This folder exist on every System that has the game installed.

I tried it but got this as the response when hitting enter, it didn't matter whether I had quotes or not I got the same error regardless. And if I manually go to programs then electronic arts. The EA services folder is completely missing and I only see this (see attached photos)

    • Close EA app and Steam completely (not just minimized in the tray).
    •  Press Windows key + R.
    •  Enter or copy and paste: "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (Without the quotes) into the “Run” window > hit ENTER.
    • Delete the "License" folder.
    • Test.
  • it's dragon age: inquisition and i have tried repairing and still no go  but i will try it again since i just upgraded to a better router

  • What Dragon Age game exactly?

    Try to repair the game.

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
