I was having the same problem on my 15" Macbook Pro/Retina. Work around was to find the DragonAge.ini file located in Document/Bioware/Dragon Age/Setting folder. Open in up with Text edit. Almost towards the end of the document is a section called Video Options. I changed resolution width = 1440 and height = 900. Make sure you save file. Start dragon age to check and see if it works. Hope this may help.

After some research here are settings for 13" Screens1280x800
