A mage can destroy boxes too, at least an Inferno mage can, two fires of Immolate does it and, since it didn't hit an enemy target, no cooldown.

Or just use mind blast. 😉 That's how I save Seggrit now, instead of jumping up to the roof I just stand outside the door and use mind blast to destroy the boxes on the other side, because I'm lazy.
I kind of hate Bioware for making destructible environmental objects, because of course I can't NOT destroy them. 😛
Yeah, that's why my Qunari mage ended up named Adaar Adaar, flame throwing weapon twice over because every box, crate, wagon, stack of wood, etc... gets blasted. Veilstrike does a number on things too - use fade touched to give it to anyone, preferably everyone. It goes off A LOT if the whole party has it. Nasty on enemies too, but boxes, wagons, etc... LOL Nothing or no one can stay standing.
