@MissTuliptus It's perfectly safe to move your DAI save files, in fact I recommend backing them up every now again (make copies of them to save somewhere else) just in case you get a bug or glitch that causes you to lose them (it happens, especially with cloud saving enabled 😉 ). Just remember to put them back in [user] > Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age Inquisition > Save (or just copy the entire save folder) when you're ready to play again. 🙂
As DarkAmaranth said, you can also save yourself from redownloading the entire game by following the directions in the article she linked to. Handy if you have a download limit or slow internet 🙂
