11 years agoMissing merchant in Skyhold
According to the strategy guide..............there should be a merchant named Seggrit in Skyhold............where?........I can't find him.
OK....thanks for that info.........I've walked aeound the whole area near Bonny Simm's but haven't found that NPC Seggrit.......I'll look somemore..BTW....is an upgrade of the courtyard necessary to find him?........I updated the tower already (but didn't notice any difference after doing that)
Can't say. I don't have a save before I finished all three upgrades. What I do remember is that the merchant near Bonny Simms was there before I finished the ball mission, after I finished Adamant. I've no idea what triggers his appearance. And the NPC that sells those two weapons isn't Seggrit. It's an unnamed NPC that you can't interact with (only with his stall). Seggrit shows up in random parts of Skyhold and doesn't sell anything.
Have some screenshots:

Proof that he sells Siege's End. http://i.imgur.com/GpSOgAV.png
I believe what you say..............I just don't have that merchants stand next to Bonnie Simm's.........I'm at level 15 now..............maybe I have to complete some more quests................thanks for your help tho!

I am not entirely sure about this, but I would imagine that the merchants are level dependant. I also think some of them only appear if you finish some missions at the War Table.
Farris the Representative (opposite Bonnie Sims) who sells influence amongst trade companies definetely only shows up if you do a War Table quest. It is probably also one of those who takes a long time to finish.
Some of his wares cost you a fortune. But he is wort it. In return you also get Inquisition Points to spend at the War Table, which is quite handy to say at least.
The War Table is the center for extra goodies and oppotunities.
