Twice I've sided with the Templars. I think the first time I gave up trying to fix it and was able to defeat the boss anyway. This time Envy was too strong. The mannequin pose meant I couldn't even revive a fallen party member.
I tried lowering my settings. Didn't work.
I tried alt-tab as somebody suggested. Didn't work.
During one attempt I noticed that Sera unfroze and I could control her. Next attempt, I tried going into this area controlling her instead of my quizzie. Partial success, everybody but my quizzie.
Decided to try one last time. My settings were still lowered.to high instead of ultra. I left the quest active. And everybody moved like they were supposed to. Maybe it was just coincidence. Maybe it was a combination of things. I am not going to replay to see if it worked.
For the record, I hate having a quest notice always on screen. I always, the minute a quest is made active, deactivate it. I mean, I know what quest I'm doing, I do not need to see it in the corner all the darn time. I had deactivated 'Defeat envy' or whatever it's called at this point, but every time I reloaded, it showed active again! I was tired of the aggravation and left it on.
I wish the devs would fix this glitch. IMO, it's kind of a big thing.
P.S. If this gets posted twice it's because posting supposedly failed the first time.
Fyi, I had the same issue, exited the game and restarted and had the same problem. Then reloaded a save just before the fight without restarting and it solved itself.
