Patch made performance MUCH worse

Prior to today's patch, the hitching was annoying, but the game was playable.  Now, the game randomly pauses for about 3 seconds every few seconds.  It does this at the title screen, while playing, i...

I just wanted to report that after the patch I have been experiencing severe frame rate drops very frequently. I have seen frame rates as low as 10fps where as before the patch, I was experiencing 50-60fps on ultra, 2xMSAA at 1080p.

i5 4690k, GTX 980 - all other specs are above recommended.

    Dear bioware,

    I have been crashing with regularity ever since the latest patch. Prior to the patch, I only experienced a couple crashes. Tonight however, I have been crashing a lot. I even tried to make a new character, but I can't get past creation. The craziest thing I've experienced is a blue screen crash. My OS crashed to bios. I couldn't make out what what was on the blue screen, because I was flipping the **bleep** out at the time.

      The patch made the game completely unplayable for me. Just as I got out of the Hinterlands too, everything was getting juicy. Frequent freezing, painful pauses, unable to MOVE anywhere without the game hitching or glitching. It got to the stage where I couldn't even click on anything, including conversation options and menus.

        Also, just to add to this, in a weird turn of events Cassandra has gone missing. Completely disappeared.

      It can now start on dual core apparently. but lags uncontrolbly until you get in game where it stops every 3 4 second and then smooth gameplay until stop aagain 4 5 sec
