Try to repair the game.

(EA app: Game Library > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

If that doesn't work, do you own the game on the EA app or Steam?

holger1405 Sadly, the repair didn't work. I own the game on EA app. Though technically, it was bought on the Origin app (that was the previous app name right? before moving to the EA app).
