Well I have the Same problem.
After changing the Voice Language to English from German the game wont load any save file or would alow me to get in the character creation screen. The loading screen with the Cards would appear and a couple seconds later it crashes.
Yes im using EA App not Origin.
I hope there is a fix, i hate nothing more then playing games in a translated language.
Changing it back fixed it but still not being able to change the language sucks.

@EA_Atic I encouter the same issue.

I had no trouble changing the voice-over using Origin, but since I use EA Desktop the game can't handle switching (language-pack installed, same conditions as the other's).

As soon as any  voice-over files (other than the german ones from my originally german game) have to be loaded/accessed the game crashes.

I can reproduce it every time when trying to enter the character creation.

I managed to take a few steps in another save in the hinterlands, but as soon as a line of party banter/dialogue is to be expected the game crashes again.

My people can't speak anything but german. ☹️

I would prefer playing with original audio.

I hope you find time to look into this.
