Re: DLC won't install and no video when playing the game?

So I think I may have the problem. I downloaded the trial of Configure to run the patch, and it said that it couldn't FIND DA. Which I thought was weird and all. So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall DA, it had some kind of error in the reinstall. So I THINK maybe there was a problem in the download. So right now I'm redownloading(we all know it'll take a day of straight downloading :/) and I'll try it all again when it finishes.

As for the configure part, I do have a splash screen when it starts up, but there was never a configure option. I used to have this game on a pc(pc was stolen, replaced with mac), and it's the same splash screen that comes up when you run from the windows shortcut. I'll see if the configure option magically shows up after the redownload.

UPDATE:
This was a downloading error. After deleting the game and redownloading everything installed accurately and I no longer have issues with video. Still can't login though, weird. At least I can play.

Did you also manage to install the 1.05 patch?
(Not vital if everything else, like all the DLC, is working for you. Besides fixing some major "authorization" issues, it mostly addressed a specific DX10 graphics card problem.)
