I also get an issue with the initial character load out as a Rogue, despite the fact I create a Mage. The moment the inventory is activated (when the bridge collapses) my guy gets stripped of his armor as it has a Rogue pre-req...
I imported World State from Dragon Age Keep, but in the Keep the Inquisition section just shows "coming soon"
I'm going to try without importing world state to see if this is the cause.

- Did this happen with your first hero?
- If you try to start with another character, using the same class/gender combination as before, does it still happen for you?

1. Not with my first Character. I started a second character to tweak his look. He somehow switch to a woman completely by the time I got to creating him. So I started a third and now I'm having the "gender bender" issue.
2. No. When I tried again it worked as it should have.
I'd normally be fine with it a just start again. But I've already put quite a bit of time into my character now. Do you guys know yet if it will even be possible to fix this problem in a patch anytime soon? If so, awesome; If not then I'd lke to know so that I don't put in a **bleep** ton of hours on an unfixable character.
Yes it blocks romance, I had the great joy of finding that out 30 hours in. I'm wanting a refund it's still within seven days of purchase. I will not redo 30 hours of gameplay for Biowares failures. Plus the time they are taking to do a patch job, and not counting the countless other problems that have been brought up. There are several game breaking bugs in this game.
Guys this bug is worrying me, I'm about 6 hours into the game and only realised it may be an issue when Cassandra (myself being a Male) flat out rejected my flirt in a conversation as it were inappropriate ie she may have treated me as the same sex? (the second time I speak to her in Haven by the camp).
Is she supposed to flat out reject your advances initially or is this the bug at play? How can I test to see if I am affected? Should I just walk around Haven and try to hear out for people talking about me?

It also happens when trying a different class. Haven't tried different gender. Game thinks my male character is female.
