*spoilers* tresspasser: black screen after entering eluvian

Same here. 

The loading screen forever after first eluvian. 

system specs
intel core i5 3350P
12GB ram
Geforce 770GTX
windows 7

try entering the eluvian with the game in windowed mode. it worked for me

*edit* this only worked the first time i entered the eluvian, when you go back a second time i got the same problem. i have removed the patch and re downloaded and tried to repair the game.

Will try, but I hope its temporary solution.. 'cos I want to play in fullscreen

I was having the same issue and managed to fix it:

I first repaired the game, and then completely (manually) deleted the patch and re-downloaded it.

 edit: (It appears to me that maybe it was the second step that actually fixed the problem.)

Now it's working perfectly well.

Same thing here.

Tried the windowed (even windowed fullscreen) "fix", but nothing. I will try delete the last patch and re-download it.

Specs:

Intel i5 4570

16GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 970 (driver 355.82)

Win10

deleted and re-downloaded the patch, didn't work for me ☹️

also changed from fullscreen to windowed, unfortunatly also nothing ☹️

deleted the dlc files and re-downloading those perhaps that helps, nope

Well! How sad. I tried everything here and sadly nothing worked. I can't progress and it's quite horrifying ☹️

*Update on my original post*

I had to go somewhere immediately after testing my 'solution' and, loading from the same save, experienced the same problem again!

After some experimenting I found that this actually works:

Choose a save BEFORE you get to the room with the Eluvian and DO NOT use a controller (if you're using one.)

I tested it with just mouse and keyboard which is why it worked the first time,

Once you get to the other side, save and you can quit and bring it back up with the controller and it will work like normal.

Unfortunately that didn't work for me. I will try to go further, and load a save at Skyhold.
