Ever since EA shutdown the "studio-specific" boards (like the BSN) DA:O and DA2 have had nowhere to send the character data that used to go there, so the Keep doesn't get any updated information. While the Keep obviously could accept the information from a different source, the games aren't able to send it anywhere else.
Only thing I can suggest (which is what I do myself) is tweak a World-State in the Keep to reflect the choices *your* Warden made. The only time the contents of the Keep have any impact on anything is during a World-State Import anyway. (Unless you want to pay for a "Custom Tapestry", I guess.)
