Can't play game after moving off of external hard drive

Hello, I recently downloaded Dragon Age: Veilguard onto my external hard drive because I did not have space for it on my internal hard drive. The connection to my external hard drive was not great, so I was experiencing some lag. I made space on my internal hard drive and moved the Veilguard game folder to the EA Games folder along with all of my other installed games. The EA app says I do not have the game installed, and says as much when I double click on the .exe file directly. There is no option to manage the properties or repair the game like there are with the other games I have installed. I tried changing the default install location in the settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app and using the App Recovery tool, to no avail. I have seen suggestions to start downloading the game again and picking the location of the installed program. The problem is DA:V is a whopping 91GB download, and it won't let me begin the download without making space for it, which I am unable to do. Is there a way to go in and fix the installation files, or am I forced to delete and reinstall? My internet connection is spotty at best, and the EA app will often stop downloading without resuming once it is back online. So I come back after stepping away from my computer minutes or hours later to find I have made no progress on the download. I'd rather not have to take another three to four days to re-download such a large file if possible.

    Hi there,

In order for the EA app to recognize the game files, you need to first start the download and wait until it reaches at least 2%, to then move the game files into that folder and then when you continue the download, it should recognize the files and finish the installation without having to download the full game again.

Since you don't have much space on your current drive, I'd suggest moving the game to your external drive, starting the download, waiting till it reaches 2% and then moving the files from the external drive to their right location. However, it's worth mentioning that if you're very low on storage space, you might run into other tech issues while playing the game.
