I can understand preferring tactical games to action games, but Dragon Age has been evolving in this direction for a long time now. Despite the action focus, from what I've seen this looks more tactical than Inquisition.

I'm trying to follow your reasoning here, but are you suggesting a "diversity push" is a possible explanation why characters looks less attractive in your eyes? Do you think a less diverse cast of characters would be more attractive?
Honestly, I don't think there's an agenda or a push here. I think this is the best looking cast of characters in a BioWare game.
Regardless, your feelings are valid and there's still time to cancel your pre-order.
