Title says it all. I'm utterly unable to take any screen shots with my dual monitor setup.
I've tried all versions of windowing as well as alt+PrtSc, Ctrl+PrtSc, Ctrl+alt+PrtScr or Win+PrtScr. I won't play the game till I have this function. Is the game putting my screenshots in some other place than Documents>BioWare>DragonAgeTheVeilguard>Screenshots?

I can not for the life of me fathom why they decided we didn't need or want a screenshot button.
This. Exactly. WTF. Why do I have to install another app over their app to take screenshot?
Here's another thing... why can't I hotkey Photomode? You literally have to back out to get to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(I really want to play this game. I love the story & am a Solosmancer but geez... I'm not gonna get into how often this game is crashing on me. I'm SO frustrated with this on so many levels)
Might not help but I always use reshade plugin (in any game) especially for screenshots and FPS/time display. Works like a charm.
I "may" have to resort to Reshade tho I shouldn't have to.
In time I've seen the advantages of reshade in terms of screenshots. Always drops the capture in same place as the game executable, choice of image form (bmp, jpg, png), double shot (before/after) in case you use additional scripts for post process, always works.
Well, although I can actually take screen shots, without being able to have the game take them, Photo Mode is practically moot. I can't take vista shots without my avatar in them. Or companions.

Microsoft's Windows 11 update KB5025310 changed the behavior of the Print Screen (PrtScn) button to open the Snipping Tool instead of capturing the entire screen

When you press print screen on Windows 11 you should be asked to highlight the area you want to capture with the Snip tool. That will grab your highlighted image, but it doesn't save it instead it goes to your clipboard, you have to then save it somewhere like Paint, or a Word Doc, etc
Can you let me know if when you hit prnsc if you see the snip tool icons appear somewhere and the screen gets darker?
I'm on Windows 10 and I also cannot screenshot. The only "screenshots" that save are the photo mode. There's not even a hint that the game is registering a screenshot being taken and nothing goes into the SS bin.

Pressing the key PrtSC doesn't open the screen snip for me, doesn't take the screenshots (via game) instead copy the screen to clipboard which in some cases affect the performance and stability. I said before, I'm using the reshade for screen grabs but I tested to see what happens with PrintScreen key.
No.. just no.... should be ONE step... not 2 or more steps... PrtSc should be taking screen shots of the game & putting them in the folder in Documents. When taking multiple screen shots while a cinematic is going, one can NOT take the time to do this.
I've installed Reshade in any case.
