Can’t get past character creation
So I can’t get past character creation. The game crashes at some point during CC. Sometimes it barely loads and other times I can get a few minutes into my CC before it crashes. this is on steam. ...

That's what helped me in the end, though I cannot say what settings are necessary.
I've changed my monitor's refresh rate from 240 to 60 IN GAME. I also changed the screen to full-screen mode. Lastly, I've turned Vsync on.
No crashes so far.
