Can't pick up power crystal in Arlathan
The crystal I need to activate the last laser device and get to that big chest on the island doesn't have a pick up option. I've tried restarting the game, changing areas, etc. but nothing works.

In summary of my personal experience and info provided in other reports, i play as a human Shadow Dragon Spellblade mage with more of the necro skills on the top left (more details if my specific build can be found in the other thread but removing any gear and refunding skills did not make changes). Initially, it seemed potentially linked to certain mage/equipment skill related interactions until another player reported the same issues with a warrior and another report by a rogue. No definitive information has been reported relating to companion interactions (potentially related since all classes are affected now, perhaps its a matter of cross class interactions between players and companions..?)
MINOR SPOILERS required to place a checkpoint for the reports below:The general consensus seems to be related to unlocking a gate in the Crossroads using the champion essence. Mine and a couple others were the Gate of Lost Ages. I believe this is the one with the mass Venatori crystal contraption that was locking up two altars (evanuris and fen’harel) right beside the town in the center.
So far, saves I have after this event around the time of the story quests Something Wrong and Shades of Blight are affected. Right after the return of a companion shortly after recruiting the final two allies. Anything after those saves, I cannot open big chests, access altars and as of right this moment I cannot access the breakable wall that is supposedly in the cellar of Gaspin Manor in Hossberg Wetlands’ side quest, An Academic Interest. So as of now this seems to be a potentially quest breaking bug outside of collectibles.
Since that specific cutscene, I had done 10 rounds in the Hall of Valor and explored the available areas of Rivain before I noticed that I could not interact with altars and chests while pursuing the Regrets in the Crossroads.
One player reported that progress into world state update (next major quest relating to Weisshaupt) fixed it for them, while another reported that this did not happen for them. I am working towards that quest right now.
UPDATE! My issue with this bug is resolved.

Similar to Kielg413 on this thread, progressing through a major world state update did return the functions of the altars in question, the chests I couldnt open, and the wall that was supposed to be accessible. So avoiding spoilers, try and progress to the next major world state change to see if it resolves the issues for now.SPOILER TERRITORY AHEAD FOR DETAILS!!

After punching the fi—ahem, after the siege of Weisshaupt and defeating the fancy snake and the squabbles at the dinner table, the world state seems to have reset to allow all unfinished business to be done. Not sure if the resolution to this bug, by means of resetting the world state at this point of the story was built in because of said bugs known to the devs, was intentional, but because of story reasons all unfinished business is set up for completion. (Sorry major run on sentence there).
Though another user, Omnicidiel reports that this specific progression did not resolve their issue. Milage may vary. As for the cause… The reasons will continue to remain…unsolved.
Issue came back. No progress to main story. But cleaned out ask side quests available and saved the gates and crossroads blight last (gate related). Reached the boss in crossroads and its chest wouldn’t open again. I reloaded some saves and found that it’s not the gate that causes the issue this time. A save with all gates open but boss was not beaten worked fine upon checking an altar i keep untouched for checking this bug. So i am speculating that maybe I was button mashing too heavily in a high tension moment of the boss fight that it mightve caused an input error. 🤷♂️ which may also be an issue the firdt time since in hindsight i was also in a high tension encounter with venatori.

I have the same issue. Used the power crystal to get the chest to the north, down the broken bridge path, and when I was taking it back to use on the laser, it broke due to enemys hitting it but didn't disappear bit wasn't able to be interacted with. After fast traveling away and back, it respawned by the door where it was originally but still can't be interacted with, no matter what I do.
