Gonna post here again.
Fresh out of a discussion with both EA support and Steam.
Apparently, the EA agents understand the problem and would issue a refund despite the "19 hours of playtime" Steam lists, but they cannot intervene because I made my purchase through Steam.
Steam, however, refuses to refund me despite explaining my situation because "we have a 2 hours window, be careful you don't leave your game open when you don't play :D"
So the 19 hours I spent troubleshooting on this non-functioning game a month after its release don't mean anything and I can't even get my money back? For a bug I couldn't know existed because it doesn't happen in the CC?
I spent 60 EUR on this title I cannot play at all, because people here can't do anything and people over Steam don't want to?
Can an administrator of some kind at least intervene on the matter? At this point I'm so angry I'd say I just want my money back. Never has something like this happened to me in my years as a gamer.
