Dragon Age: Veilguard Crashes within a minute

Mine seems to launch just fine, but crashes about 1 minute into the game itself.
The error message popup states that it is DirectX related, or graphics driver related.
Now, I dug a little deeper, and it seems like the problem is also related to the upscaling, as it ran fine when I turned off XESS, or FSR (my card does not support DLSS), and left the resolution scaling at 100%
Framerate was horrible though, but the game was stable.
System specs: GTX 1080Ti, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10. Game is installed on an SSD.
