Some inline updates for the trouble shooting recommended: Seems the vsync is a solution.
- Have you checked your Anti-virus (or other security software)? No
- Are you running any third-party programs or overlays in the background? No
- Is your system Date/Time correct, or could you be running a VPN? It is correct, no VPN
- Are you using any mods? (if so remove them, clean install your game, and test on a fresh save) No
If you've checked the above and continue running into an issue playing Dragon Age, you may need to give the following a shot (like an arrow shot... get it!)
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates Already was updated. Just ran this tool.
- Default your PC to the dedicated Graphics card: Troubleshooting Graphics issues Already Done
- If an option is available, try capping your frame rate. You can also enable Vertical Sync (V-Sync) to match your frame rate to your display’s refresh rate. I have DLSS enabled. But I set the frame rate to 144hz instead of 240. (Kept the cap to unlimited). This seems to be working now... no crash yet (5 min in).
