Dragon Age Veilguard PC, serious stutter.

I played Veilguard over year ago, today I tried it again, I was planning to continue story which I have player over 52 hours. I have upgraded to Windows 11 and when starting game (after game update) ...

    There are many VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED errors in your DxDiag. 

    This means the a part of the graphic engine, most probably the graphic driver did not responded in a timely fashion and the OS reseted the driver to prevent a compleat system crash. 
    This could also explain the problems with BG3. 

    As Fred_vdp​ mentioned it would be good to clean install your NVIDIA graphic driver: 

    1. Follow this manual to the letter to completely uninstall the NVIDIA graphics driver.
      IMPORTANT: if you use a Pin to log into Windows 11 don't use DDU in safe mode!
      Use it in your normal Windows session.
    2. Restart the PC.
    3. Install the new NVIDIA graphics driver
    4. Restart the PC > Go online.
    5. Test the games.

I moved your post into a separate thread because the other thread hasn't been used for over a year and is outdated. 

Please add a DxDiag to your next reply.

A DxDiag is an overview of your PCs technical features and recent software errors.
There is no personal info in it expect for the “Machine name” in the second row.
(You might delete the “Machine name” and “Machine Id” line if you wish too.)

How to create a DxDiag:

  1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
  2. Copy and past or type "DxDiag" in the new field. (Without the quotes) > ENTER
  3. Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
  4. Save the file to your desktop.
  5. Here at EA Forum > Click Replay > Click the paper clip icon at the bottom of the replay Window.
  6. Navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open".
  7. Reply.

    DxDiag attached, I doubt that it would help. Best FPS rate was 7 when I tried game yesterday. Veilguard is not only game which Windows 11 ruined. In Baldur's Gate III I change to use Vulkan instead of DX12 because of stutter.

        I did as instructed and now game is working properly. My sincerest thanks.
