Formless One Bug

I'm having an issue during the second stage of the fight with the undead dragon. When the dragon goes up to his perch, he never comes down, which prevents the quest from being finished and forces me to reload a save.

    I found the issue. As it turns out, having any third party program affecting the game will cause the fight with the Undead Dragon and Fangscorcher to bug in this way. This includes something like Reshade, which I was using. Once I uninstalled Reshade, the fight progressed as normal with no issue. Most likely this will include any sort of cheat script like WeMod or Cheat Engine as well, but I'm not sure.

      I can confirm this worked for me. Removed mods and fight proceeded correctly.

    Yep. I went back to a save before I killed the demons leading to it and still bugged out stuck on the perch.  If you have % health shown, it is supposed to come down at 65% but it stays up there forever.

    Anyone found a work around for this yet? No matter how slow or how fast I damage him the first time he flies up and perches he never comes back down.

    Exactly the same for me, dragon just sitting on a perch ant never comes down. Tried about 6 times with different tactics. Also Hauntings: Deathly curiosity is bugged for me. It is impossible to turn it in to Myrna and Vorgoth, quest never completes.

    I am also having this bug. Not just with this dragon, with any dragon that goes on a perch. They never come down. Fangscorcher is also stuck up on a perch and this is a companion questline for Taash.

    Having the same issue. Dragon perches, then ceases taking damage and never comes down.

    Same problem here. Others describe this issue well. The stun bar does not matter. It's the enemy health bar imo.

    Having this issue as well, holding out hope for either a patch or for some story reason to eventually make it die, even tried bringing a character made for dragons with me and nothing
