let me rephrase. Jump on first beam (press jump while walking), while you are there face the next beam and keep pressing forward then press jump (don't release forward), repeat until you clear the route. No evade nor fade step! This is as simple as it gets. FORWARD+JUMP (make sure you face the next beam).

Worth to ask since none of you mentioned, which platform for the game and if it is PC, do you use controller (which one if you do) or simple keyboard and mouse?
Hi! I have the same problem (on PC). Finally, I discovered that the jumping is only done if Caps Lock is pressed. Go figure. I hope it helps.
