Last Rites not Progressing on PC

I got the quest and made it to the area, destroyed the crystals which, at first at least, were just the two unguarded ones by the barriers, but nothing happened, went to complete a different quest in the area and waystoned back to where it was to try again and the barriers were back, along with the guard crystal sequence. 

Broke the guard crystals, then the main crystals, can access the area, but when one is down the other doesn't fall like it's supposed to, and even destroying both ones doesn't progress the quest.
