Preorder bonus armor missing
Preordered a physical copy of the game. Been playing through the story, and there is still no bonus armor showing in my inventory. Anyone else dealing with this glitch?

I just tried the new patch and this issue STILL has not been fixed. I'm actually really disappointed that I still cannot play with the DLC I have actually purchased.. I'm losing hope this will not be fixed soon if at all. Is there to a way to get a refund for the deluxe DLC? It feels like EA has literally just stolen my money and made me pre order the game thinking I will be able to play with this DLC but it didn't work. Feels like a scam to me at this point. How is this issue not higher priority? We have spent MONEY and not received what we have purchased this should not be legal.
I'm tired.
I am disappointed to hear your feedback regarding this patch. I hoped it would fix the missing DLC items (deluxe and pre-order).
For me personally, as a fan of the Dragon Age series, I have liked owning the Blood Dragon Armor and dressing my MC up in said armour, so you can imagine my frustration and feeling that I have lost part of the specific immersion and emotional connection I have with a Dragon Age Game is the Blood Dragon Armor is missing or otherwise unavailable.
If I had known this DLC bug had been an issue with the game on launch, I could have saved myself money, waited 1-2 years, and bought the game at a lower price. The technical lesson for EA and Bioware is that if DLC is bundled with the game on launch day, please ensure you know it is working before the game is released and goes live.Yes exactly. And saying I am extremely disappointed is an understatement. The Blood Dragon armor is what made me pre order, it's such a staple to the franchise. At this point they should just release the pre order and deluxe items for free as they did with the N7 DLC. Just patch this DLC into the game at this point since it doesn't look like they know why this bug is happening and so many of us are not able to use it as is.
I created my third Rook and the chest did not show again. I did get chest with N7 stuff and that appearance I have with no problem. But bonus stuff is missing again. I hope I get it later, I will check after which quest I got it.
They honestly should add bonus items to the chest as well, as clearly the original system does not work.
How far along in the game are you?

11/04- I bought the Deluxe edition in EA app and also am missing the bonus content.
11/07- Just now, while playing and before downloading the patch I got a message that I have new items in wardrobe and pop ups for each item appeared.
11/18- I created my third Rook and the chest did not show again. I did get chest with N7 stuff and that appearance I have with no problem. But bonus stuff is missing again. I hope I get it later, I will check after which quest I got it.Naeramarth- You may be able to shed the most light on this on PC, since you've encountered this before, then you later received the items, and now you are encountering it again on another playthrough. Out of curiosity, when you received the items before, was it after Part 8 (after The Siege of Weisshaupt)?

@EA/BioWare- I've preordered a few games with preorder bonus incentives, and I have never been irritated if that same content is later made available to people who didn't preorder, either as a purchasable DLC, as part of an anniversary update, etc. I think most gamers who preorder are equally unbothered by preorder incentives being made available at a later date to the general public (I also prefer this from a game preservation point of view). If it finally resolves the issue for people who preordered but can't access the preorder content, please just bake the preorder content into the standard and deluxe editions (do not make this a separate purchasable DLC, instead make it a free update, as people who preordered shouldn't be charged for something they already purchased by virtue of preordering in exchange of time value of money).Are people still having issues with accessing the deluxe content too? If so, just include the deluxe content in the standard edition (not as DLC, but as part of the base game), refund the difference in edition prices (like Creative Assembly did with Total War: PHARAOH), and stop selling a deluxe edition (again, like Creative Assembly did with Total War: PHARAOH). BTW, thank you for not including DRM and not tethering Dragon Age: The Veilguard to a specific launcher; I hope this reflects a permanent shift in how EA-published games are released.
I preordered the deluxe edition on both EA app and Steam. I have yet to install the game via either digital distribution platform, as I was planning on knocking out several other games first, but if an EA community manager would like, as another data point, I can install the game via EA app and/or Steam to see if I receive the preorder and deluxe items.
There have been a couple of people on the Steam forum who had some confusion about where to find the preorder content, but I haven't seen anyone on Steam report this issue (yet).
Missing/invalid DLC code issues aside (for people who purchased the game on disc), for everyone else, is this just for a second Rook (i.e., players who have gone through character creation more than once), or are some people encountering this issue for their first Rook as well?

Neither my 1st nor 2nd Rook had the chest with the DLC items
Yes, my first character didn't receive the DLC at all. I created another one to see if it would show up and still didn't/. Then it randomly appeared for my first character but the DLC was still locked in the wardrobe. Now the chest has disappeared again. I'm using the EA App so I would suggest you use Steam since I think it works there. Weird how EA's own app is bugged out with the DLC when Steam doesn't seem to have this issue lmao.
I don’t have steam or the EA app. I bought my deluxe digital version right off the Xbox marketplace.
I just created a 2nd character to check the room for the chest as I've played past the 1st entry to the fade already on my 1st toon. There is no chest and as I pre-ordered, there's supposed to be one next to Varric's bed, if I'm not mistaken. I pre-ordered from Origin as I do not like steam, it bogs down my pc. Do they show up later when we return to the fade? I was under the impression it was the 1st visit.
Having the same problem on both my characters. The chest doesn't show up at all. Pre-ordered it for my Xbox Series S digitally. Any idea when it's going to be fixed?

Same problem, no chest even on my first character.
I play with EA play pro and EA launcher.
My first character received the items. Created a new one and the chest was there, it says I received the items, but they aren't actually there.
I have the same issue. I Pre-order from Amazon Canada and no luck. I've waited several days now to see if it will appear. (PS5) Any suggestions on opening a ticket as I just get a chat option! Thanks
So as i read all the comments from the dev team they fix just digital but us physical copy is just spit on the face ? Cool. Tried to defend this game but after all those crappy decision i regret so much buying this game. Clearly will sell this after completing it...
Trust me I know the feeling. Mine is not fixed as well and I'm digital. I think it's random accounts at this point. And I'm really frustrated with this issue.
I stopped playing at the moment since I don't want to play without those skins anymore.
But the thing is even if they "fix" the "dlc" i will never have it cause it should be in the game, i never got a "code" the only code they give me its a discount for their stupid bioware store for overprice items
They never ever said physical copy will not have it other than gamestop. Even after i check with my local gamestore i checked online everywhere they never said CD would NOT the bonus content. Its legit disgusting
i preorder with geforce now bundle and i havnt the armour....
Any news yet anyone?
