This is a common problem with EA games. I have the same problem in Madden and in FIFA/EA Sports FC. I have a solution that works for me. I hope it solve the problem for you.
Go to NVIDIA-configurations -> Look to 'Manage 3D-settings' -> Choose program settings and add the game 'Dragon age: The Veilguard'.
You see a lot of options there. Go to 'Vertical synchronisation' and put this on. Don't choose anything else, because it put off frame generation in game.
