so i just figured this out cause oh my god its been bugging me all day. i had massive tears as well- i have amd though is the thing, and i was able to solve it by turning off this thing called "fluid motion frames 2" in the control panel, deactivating enhanced sync and activating the manual vsync. as well, remove triple buffer in game. thats what did it for me. im not too sure how nvidia looks but maybe deep dive into the control panel?
Thank you so much for this! When I first started playing DAV on PC (Steam) I wasn’t having any issues except for a bit of stuttering. I expected this as my processor needs upgrading and so does my graphics card, even though it’s slightly beyond what is recommended. I one night decided to plug my PC up to my tv so I could lay in bed instead of sitting at my desk and ever since then, I’ve been experiencing screen tearing! I changed settings, in-game and through AMD but nothing fixed it. Turning off Fluid Motion Frames 2 fixed my issue. Thanks again!
