Silas memory not loading

I fight the first wave but the gate to the rest of Solas's memories will not open. Apparently there is a main bad guy that pops up and once you defeat him the gate opens but I am only seeing the grunts. I have reloaded the game a couple of times but it still keeps happening. What do I do now?
