Steam - Game won't launch

I haven't played DATV in over a month or so - when I tried launching it tonight it would popup a black screen for a few seconds before closing down.  I have tried the following to no avail: uninstal...

launching
pc
technical issues

    to steam —> right click properties for the game and verified its integrity -> Updated the new GPU Drivers (released March 18)

    that seemed to have worked. The miracle might have been the new driver update.

I am having this SAME problem and I am absolutely heartbroken. I was 6 achievements away from completing everything, I just want to play my game. I've tried the same things as well and still nothing has fixed it 😭

    Really hope we are able to solve this problem - my boyfriend is gonna try and see if he can figure out a solution this weekend. If he somehow by the grace of god does I’ll let you know. Otherwise if you find a way to make it work again PLEASE tell me 😭
